This IPRO is intended for anyone who is interested in learning about the “Internet of Things” and how it may be implemented for real-world application. The IPRO will be very hands-on, as part of the project will consist of physically assembling, programming, and implementing functionality on networked devices. The design, construction, and programming of the devices will introduce real-world challenges and technological approaches commonly encountered in the IoT industry, build students’ confidence that they can do real things for real world. Participants can explore a wide range of capabilities such as environmental sensing, computer vision, autonomous actions, cloud-based analytics, and more.
