IPRO 314: Interactive Urban Landmark Kiosks for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Walk has been working with students from Gage Park High School to design and build kiosks for a new memorial to recognize Dr. King’s 1966 march for open housing. The August 5, 1966 Chicago Tribune article on the walk is available here. The IPRO project, which began in Fall 2009, will be continuing in the 2010-2011 academic year.
