One of the IPRO Program’s most important learning objectives is communication, both written and verbal. Teams are able develop their skill in verbal communication through two assignments: a midterm review presentation and a final presentation that is delivered at IPRO Day. Copies of slides from IPRO team presentations since Fall 2003 are available online in the iKnow library.

Each semester, Robert Anderson, IIT’s Director of Technology Transfer, delivers a seminar on best practices for presentations to IPRO teams. Mr. Anderson worked for UOP LLC for 37 years in executive positions in the areas of process technology development, commercialization, and licensing prior to joining IIT’s staff.
