As Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Professor Gosz is responsible for the operations of the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Undergraduate Academic Education, the Academic Resource Center, the Academic Technology Group, the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Idea Shop, the Interprofessional Projects Program, and academic summer programs including the Exelon Summer Institute and Math Camp.

Tom Jacobius works to develop new education programs that cut across the boundaries of professional programs and disciplines to advance IIT’s reputation as an interprofessional university and enrich the educational experience of all IIT students. He has developed and directed the IPRO Program since its inception in 1995. Through his efforts, the interprofessional team project course requirement has become IIT’s signature educational experience for all undergraduates, and he has also worked to open IPRO courses to all graduate students as well.
